This project is to a) practice typing and b) to start a writing practice.

Dogs are the best therapy for some people because dogs offer unconditional love. They respond to your moods. They are warm and fuzzy. They just make me smile. They do goofy things and they let you know what they want.

Sunshine is the bet quick medicine. WHEN I’m feeling blue, a sunbeam raises my spirits.

Typing on a laptop is especially hard. I can’t see the letter at all. It’s flat. I try to type properly, but it is all guesswork. Do I have to try online lessons again? They haven’t been very successful in the past, especially when you are sitting in a chair. Maybe it would be a little easier at a table.

I’m watching the news. The story about the puppy mill is so sad. I wish I could help. I gave money to the Humane Society last month. I’m trying to be good about spending money.

Today I went to the thrift store. I’m going to try to keep that as my one shopping fix for awhile. I won’t do shoes there though. I don’t need any shoes right now anyway. There are shoes I would like but they aren’t necessary.

Today I am at the hospital for my tysabri infusion. There are some politics that go on around here. Some of the nurses are afraid of the head nurse. SHE can be a bit terse.

There was an earthquake this morning. I didn’t feel it. Just a reminder that it can happen at any time.

Ok, now that I’ve gotten used to the Mac, it’ time to write something. Listening to NANCY pearl’s interviews with writers, it’ good to hear that mot writers don’t follow the advice of writing books about outlining and creating character before they start writing. I think that is more how i am. I would take s more organic approach. It seems more interesting to just start writing without knowing where the story is going.

    Building our own Fences

    (working title)

We set up boundaries around ourselves, individually and as groups. We set barriers that we don’t cross. We always go to the same grocery store. We don’t go out after 10:00 pm. We buy the same cereal every week.

The one true love isn’t always the one you should spend the rest of your life with

Feeling passionate and totally consumed by another person isn’t necessarily the bet thing for you. When you fall in love like that, it is you not the two of you that matter. You put on binders to their manipulation. You do things you’d nevere do otherwise. This an be true for any love, but is dangerous and you can get lost if you cannot  function rationally.
